There are LOTS of changes coming to Be Christ-Minded in the next few weeks! From select guest-writers to opening up the blogs and boards to contributions from our members and eve more! We’ll also be launching the BCM Store – where we’ll offer Christian clothing, knick-knacks and doo-dads to make your testimony even more powerful. We have a lot more planned because as those with the mind of Christ we want to make our ministry real and felt within our communities.

I’ve been pretty delinquent in this ministry for a bit due to resource constraints (time and energy mostly) – however, I made a commitment and intend to honor it. Be Christ-Minded has taken on our very FIRST guest “writer” and introduced our GUEST AUTHORS section of the website. Make sure to take in “Merging Onto God’s Highway” – the self-told story of a child of God as she grows in Him.

YAY! Just now Be Christ-Minded.com posted its 100th Christ-Byte! (…and this time our math was on target!)
The 100th Christ-Byte read: “Beware of paying attention to or going back to what you once were, when God wants you to be something that you have never been. – OC”
The Christ-Byte’s initiative was inspired by Reverend/Evangelist Arthur Grant – a Jamaican Church of God preacher, who is passionate about the awesome glory of God and remaining within that bathing light. Christ-Bytes are glimpses of that glory in the form of the little things people say and/or write, events happening around me, or my own conversations and meditation time spent with God.
Christ-Bytes are meant to encourage, admonish, teach, rebuke, inspire, correct and train up in righteousness. They are intended to give us a peek into WHO God is, what He requires of us and how He has equipped us to please Him (if we so choose to do).
The Christ-Bytes have their own Twitter feed and are displayed across the breadth of the Be Christ-Minded.com web presence – including the main page; the Prayer Wall; and the Be Christ-Minded Facebook fan page – and so to commemorate the 100th Christ-Byte we’ll be doing a single “100 Christ-Bytes in Review” post on June 9, 2010 displaying all 100 Christ-Bytes and hopefully allowing YOU to vote on your favorites! From there we’ll call our design team together and get some merchandise done up for giveaways later this year!

I promise that this week will see the return of the Christ-Bytes and the Weekly Prayer Drive (over on the Prayer Wall).
If you’ve happened to hit the site on your mobile phone as of May you should have realized a HUGE change! Not only is there now a mobile site that’s much much easier to navigate and read – but you can also interact with us fully via the mobile site now! Leave comments, bookmark pages – even e-mail a page to your friend!

Today’s devotional update was (still is) a little late because of a couple little things – but one BIG thing!
The Be Christ-Minded Prayer Wall was JUST LAUNCHED! You can go there, register and starting posting prayer requests and praying for others RIGHT NOW!!
The Prayer Wall has some nice features like live updating and “tag-based feeds” – meaning you can follow all prayers and prayer requests with a particular tag. Users must register to post requests or prayers, and our moderation team has put measures in place to ensure that the wall remains free spam or inappropriate material. Want greater anonymity? Just let us know that in the body of your request, and we’ll take the request and only our special intercessory team will be able to see and respond to it.
We are in a time where we need to be praying – and know that we have others consistently and fervently praying for us! The BCM Prayer Wall is just one way to answer the Lord’s call to prayer in our lives!
Almost forgot: I’ve added the ability to get the Be Christ-Minded updates via e-mail to the website. I’ve advised using the Feed My Inbox service in the past, but now I’ve extended the FeedBurner service we currently use to allow for this as well. The updates are delivered ONCE per day between 5am and 7am in a “pretty” little e-mail. To ensure you receive updates you should add info[at]bechristminded[dot]com to your safe list.
